Introducing Some Of Our Slaughterhouse Survivors. ..

Introducing some of our slaughterhouse survivors 💪

Ava, Boonrod, Petra, Ginny, Kimchi, Ares and Rome are among the luckiest cats in the world right now. Against the odds and alongside 40+ others, they have survived the unimaginable horror of being stolen, caged and almost brutally killed in an industrial-scale slaughterhouse in a remote region of Vietnam.

It is only thanks to your support that they are safe and alive today.

Sadly, there were many more cats when our team arrived at the now-defunct slaughterhouse back in March. However, the torment and cruelty they had endured ultimately claimed their young lives. We fought desperately to save them, but in the face of such severe injury, illness and trauma, it was too late.

It has been devastating to see so many precious lives lost, but in this nightmarish situation, we are grateful that so many were able to be saved.

These brave survivors will soon make their way to Thailand, where the dog and cat meat trade has long been outlawed and where loving homes and excited families await them. (With their health improved but still fragile and their trauma still fresh, we believe transporting them any further would be unfair and far too risky.)

We look forward to sharing the next stage of their journey with you. In the meantime, we want to say a huge thank you for everything you have done for them ❤️
