Labour Day was spent performing a health assessment on our captive-raised terrapins 💪🏻

With assistance from our foreign volunteers, we were able to check the health conditions of 20 terrapins. We recorded their microchip numbers, their body weight and measurements, and gave them a head-to-toe health check, including their mouth cavity and cloaca.

By performing a health assessment, we are able to confirm that they’re in good health and ready for release in October.

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011.
