Doggy boy is admitted at Gasing. His rescuer says he is fully vaccinated, yet is infected with parvo. The same thing happened with a few dogs that we took in from another rescuer that were all fully vaccinated but still got distemper. Apparently the vet explained that it could happen just like how people could still get Covid-19 in spite of being fully vaccinated. So better be careful and not take for granted that vaccinated dogs cannot get parvo or distemper. Hopefully, this boy will recover soon. Thank you for helping with funds. The rescuer is a packer with Lazada who has work only three days a week, how not to help? Yesterday we were told that there was talk that helping independant rescuers was our tactic of getting money into our coffers albeit us asking donors to pay the vets directly. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
