Tomorrow Is Earth Hour 2012

Coincidentally, since 2008, every Earth Hour, I’d end up writing or completing a book.
Earth Hour 2008, I wrote my first non-academic book, Pawprints on My Heart.
Earth Hour 2009, I wrote Indy Jones & the 4 Pillars of Kindness.
Earth Hour 2010, I wrote See You at Rainbow Bridge.
Earth Hour 2011, I wrote Make Time While the Sun Shines.
Looks like this year, I don’t have any inspiration to write any book! I could easily take a few cases and whip it into a book, but it’s not an easy task sourcing sponsors to publish the book and distribute free to the masses. So far, there are already 55,190 books (7 titles) printed and distributed for free, all over the region. The books are also all available for free download here: www.tiny.cc/paws.
Perhaps, for this year, I’ll finally get to see our 3 year delayed project, the AnimalCare picture handbook (for children and adults who prefer not to read!). This project has been so, so delayed because I cannot draw! If I could, it would have been out 3 years ago. It was supposed to be our first project. The first artist did the job, but left it at 95% done (I love his drawings, and there are only about 6 more pages to go). I haven’t been able to get anyone to continue the job until recently when one of our readers offered to finish that 5%.
I was hoping we could get it out in time for our anniversary month, May. It was on 31st May 2009 that I started AnimalCare holding a cardboard box, and it was on 6th May 2011 that we got registered officially as a society.
So the month of May will always be special for us.
“May” we get our picture handbook this year!
Happy Earth Hour tomorrow, folks!
Let’s do it for the planet.
