* Blood donation appeal for Money cat *

HT Chin has urgently reached out to us to help look for a blood donor for her cat called Money who is only 1.3 years old.

Money is positive in FeLV and his HCT has now dropped to 21.1%. The vet informed in the event it dropped below 15%, an urgent blood transfusion is required.

Money’s blood type is Group B and this is not a common blood group. They have tested 5 cats to do the cross-matching yesterday, but unfortunately all are not compatible.

HT Chin is now appealing help from other cat owners with cat that meet the following criteria, who would be able to do a blood test and blood donation if compatible to Money in the event a blood transfusion is required :

- Healthy cats of aged 1 to 6 years old.

- Fully vaccinated.

- Weighs above 4kg.
