A Gentle Reminder: Please Resize Your Photos

Dear all,

Could I please appeal to everyone who writes in for help to please resize the photos being sending them to me?

Please do not send me large photos that are above 1MB.�I do not need high resolution photos for posting on�a blog.

In fact, I�do not need photos above 100kb for posting.�If your photos are too big, it will take me a long time to upload them, and the page itself (with your post) will also take a long time to load.

I also do not always have the luxury of using my home computer to write posts as I am not always at home (where I can resize the photos more easily). Yet, so many requests come in daily and I need to blog on the go.

Right at this moment, I am sitting at a computer (with a CRT monitor!) with a very old version of Windows and the only way I can resize the photos is by pasting them in powerpoint and re-saving them as jpeg. This takes time, and I do not always have the luxury of time. I also cannot download a photo resizer into a computer that isn’t mine.

It would help so very, very much if you could kindly resize your photos before sending them to me, to save me the time, please.
