Vermount was rescued as a six-month-old puppy. Her owner had abandoned her on the streets and, in her attempt to fend for herself out there, she’d sustained a nasty injury to her tail. She was also weak with anaemia.

Her tail wound was deep and so infected that our vets were considering a total amputation at first. However, with some careful wound care, they were able to save it. As if to show her gratitude, she wags it at everyone she meets!
