Just a reminder. It’s going to be a cacophony of blasts tonight given that it is Chap Goh Mei. Please keep your dogs secure. Put them in a room with things they can cower under if your dog is an indoor dog. If it is an outdoor dog, and you do not have a cage – please let your pet in until the blasts stop. If you have a cage, please put some cloth or bedsheets inside the cage for the dog to cower and cover the cages with something that it will muffle the sounds as well as protect doggo from the glare of the blasts. Keep your gates closed if you are able to. If you have a collar with a tag with your contact details, please put that on your dog. Remember doggos have a hearing almost seven times sharper than ours.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
