As his business started to expand, he moved to the current location which is in Gasing Indah – hence the name. However, he maintained the bank account under the name of his old practice. So the bank account for Gasing Veterinary Hospital is Brickfields Veterinary Medical Center Sdn Bhd.

2. Thomas Animal Clinic

When Dr Thomas Mathews, a very senior vet, started his practice decades ago – he named the clinic after his first name and had a bank account under the same name. His business started expanding over the years and diversified covering a pet shop as well as other pet-related businesses. To make managing the varied companies easy and to place them under one umbrella – he formed a holding company under his family name called Mathews Veterinary Services Sdn Bhd. He now maintains a single account – under the holding company’s name – for all his businesses for easy accounting purposes. So the bank account for Thomas Animal Clinic is Mathews Veterinary Services Sdn Bhd.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
