Three-legged soi girl finds her forever home in Florida ❤

Brandee was only four months old when she was hit by a car in 2015. The impact left her with a horrific injury to her left hind leg – her bones fractured and exposed.

Luckily, a kind man who witnessed the accident came to her rescue, scooping her up and driving her to the nearest vet clinic. But Brandee was a street dog with no owner to pay for her treatment, so she was transferred to our shelter.

Following amputation surgery, Brandee adjusted quickly and was soon running around just like the other dogs!

She didn’t have to wait long to find her forever home either, as she was welcomed by a family in Florida, USA, the following year. They recently shared this lovely update about Brandee who is now seven years old:

“Brandee has been one of the best things to happen to our family. We love her beyond words and she has been a blessing. She is so happy and loving and always brings smile to our days. We don’t even know what life would be without her! We are grateful to have come across your organization and we wish you success in the New Year!”
