Three years ago, Jaycen was hit by a car while wandering the streets. Usually, people don’t stop for homeless dogs like Jaycen, but the man who accidentally hit him did. He rushed him to our hospital where he was treated for his injuries: fractures to his pelvis and right hip.

Although Jaycen’s size adds to his charm, it does make it challenging for him to stand out among his fellow rescue dogs at the shelter who can all stand taller, run faster and jump higher!
