To reduce the tragedy of “jar dog”, here’s a 1.5mins educational short clip, we hope everyone can help to share it and save lives.

The tragedy of the jar dog that was posted two days ago, there is a video of the vet helping her to take out the jar in this short clip.

Due to the debts of more than RM200k in our shelter, and due to inflation, our monthly expenses directly soared to RM300k last year. Since the end of last year, we’re forced to stop all the rescue and take in, we have no idea how to keep going with 3,000 rescued animals inside 😞

But we still hope to do our best to speak for the homeless furries, saving stray is not the shelter’s responsibility, but it’s you and me, the social responsibility of every society member.

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
