Kuala Langat Council Kept Strays In Poor Conditions, Dvs Confirms

DVS has this case investigated and issued an improvement notice under sec 25 AWA 2015. DVS acknowledged that the dogs were not housed and cared for under sec 24 of AWA 2015 but decided to give time for improvement and not prosecute the pound management. Spca feels that the pound management must be held accountable under the law and be prosecuted for animal cruelty.

The department found 94 dogs placed in seven separate 30 square feet rooms at the pound.
