Hello, Its Daymon Here At 16-Years-Old, I Have To ..

Hello, it’s Daymon here! At 16-years-old, I have to be one of the oldest residents here at the shelter. But age is just a number, and I still feel young at heart. I guess it must be my positive attitude and zest for life that helps.

My friends here like to tell me that I am a very brave boy for all of I have been through. I like to think we are all brave. We all have our own stories and reasons for being here. Would you like to hear mine? Well, okay then. I suppose you did woof nicely.

A horrible condition affecting my eyes had caused me to go blind. Not being able to see made life very dangerous, especially on the streets. On that fateful day three years ago, I fell into a canal and couldn’t get myself out.

As you can imagine, it was very scary. Thankfully, some very kind people wanted to help me, and that’s how I happened to find myself at Soi Dog. With the help of people like you, I was able to receive the treatment I needed to recover. And with time, my health transformed. I was even able to regain my sight a little, which was just magical!

Speaking of magic, that’s what sponsorship feels like for me. It helps to provide for my ongoing care, including important things like special food that helps my kidney health. It also means that I have very special friends all over the world. How cool is that?

Having such a big heart, there’s always room for more friends in my life. If that could be you, please click here: https://links.soidog.org/could-daymon-be-your-new-friend.
