From Kedah To Puchong: Blackey, The Sporo-Cat (Sha�s)

Sha (Wan Rozima Mior Ahmed Shahimi) brought Blackey, her sporo-cat, down from Kedah to Puchong last Thursday to continue treatment at the vet’s over here.

The vet in Kedah had told Sha there isn’t much he could do anymore, so without wasting any time, Sha discussed it with us, and we advised her to let the vet in Puchong treat Blackey and give her a chance to recover.

Over in Kedah, there was also a time lapse where Blackey was taken off the medication as per the vet’s treatment protocol.

�Sha said Blackey was very well-behaved throughout the 6-hour journey from Kedah to Puchong.

We wish Blackey all the best at the clinic, and let’s pray that she gets well quickly. Sha and the vet are worried that the fungal infection has spread to other parts of the body. We’d also like to thank Myza Nordin for being Blackey’s “foster mother” while he is here in Puchong since Sha would need to be back in Kedah for work and would not be able to visit often.

Blackey’s first bill (for the treatment in Kedah) amounted to RM684. The vet did not charge for the hernia surgery. We had already banked in RM300 (donated by individual donors/readers of our blog) and SCRATCH has pledged to subsidise 50% of the remaining sum.

For the next bill, we have pledged to help Sha with the bill until our maximum total amount of RM500 is reached.
