Inside Soi Dog's Community Outreach Programme

The unsung heroes of Soi Dog Foundation 🧡

Did you know that over half of the animals you help to treat are treated OUTSIDE of our dog and cat hospitals?

That’s right. Your support extends beyond the walls of the shelter and right into the heart of local communities via our community outreach teams – the unsung heroes of Soi Dog Foundation.

We strongly believe that, if we are to effect true long-term change for the homeless animals of Asia, the local community must be on board.

Our three community outreach teams are leading the way in this area, empowering the public to care for the animals they share their neighbourhoods with and assisting and educating them in doing so.

In 2022, the teams administered more than 21,000 individual treatments to over 10,000 animals out on the streets and at the local government dog pound – from routine tick treatment and vaccinations, to life-saving wound care and fluid administration.

To bring these remarkable statistics to life and get a glimpse into the teams’ incredible work, please watch the video below which follows them on their daily rounds.

Thank you for making their work possible for the benefit of thousands upon thousands of animals.
