We wrap up the year 2022 with our last physical event 🥳

On 8th Dec, we participated in the Christmas Bazaar held by British International School Kuala Lumpur. There were 40 other vendors that sells Christmas decorations and gifts, potteries, handmade woven bags, crocheted hats, batik products, and accessories like earrings, bracelets and nail polish. There was also a symbolic adoption of gibbons by Gibbon Conservation Society @gibbonconservationsociety 🐒

Just like at Berjaya Charity Bazaar, we sold our regular turtle batik merchandise, with additional 2023 calendars and seasonal items ie. Christmas and Chinese New Year accessories such as headbands, scrunchies, lanyards, and angpow pouches! 💮

Overall, the sale of 2023 calendars and the BSKL Christmas Bazaar soared to more than RM 20,000! All the proceeds go to supporting local entrepreneurs and for our turtle conservation efforts 🐢

Besides that, there was also amazing music performances by the talented students!

We really thank @BSKL for inviting us and we hope to have more collaborations in New year 💪🏻

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
