Baby Birds Admissions Until 10 Jan 2023. Just This..

BIRD ADMISSIONS UNTIL 10 JAN 2023

Just this year, our 24-hour #wildliferescue hotline handled over 9,400 calls regarding birds possibly in distress, and our team of staff and #volunteers rescued over 2,100 birds who needed help – young, grounded, injured, poisoned, trapped in glue, concussed, window strikes – whether common, migratory, protected, non-protected – our team extended advise to callers or rescued and provided care for them as much as our resources can humanly stretch.

This has showed that we need better conditions to continue providing for rescued birds. Our bird block is undergoing the desperately needed renovation, and we regret to inform that we are unable to admit birds during this period (27 Dec 2022 to 10 Jan 2023).

We will be able to still advise you on what can be done until 10Jan 2023, after which we will resume operations as usual. We seek your kind understanding, as the renovation work is important to provide better environment for the birds whom we rescue in the future!
