is a jolly, happy soul

with his spotted fur and a button nose

and three legs on which he strolls

It’s no fairytale, they say

In a hit-and-run, he was hurt and stunned

Nearly lost his life that day

There must been some magic

in the Soi Dog shelter grounds

for once the vets had treated him

he began to walk around!

is alive as he could be

and the volunteers say he can run and play

just the same as you and me

It’d be a fairytale, they say

If he found a home he could call his own

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals. Soi Dog also has a treatment facility in Bangkok and responds to crisis situations throughout Thailand.
