Do you remember Mornis? He was cruelly shot multiple times and left to suffer all alone on the streets with his injuries. 😧

One of the bullets had caused a fracture to his femur bone, which must have been causing him excruciating pain. 😔 As the fracture hadn’t been treated, by the time he arrived it was too late for our veterinary team to perform a reduction (alignment of the bones so they can heal), so Mornis needed to have an amputation.

Sadly, it’s not just the physical wounds that Mornis is recovering from, but the emotional wounds too. After being mistreated so badly, Mornis is now very wary of people, and will need some time to learn how to trust once again. He’s been through so much. 😥
