A very poorly Pupeye was brought to the Soi Dog shelter when she was eight weeks old. Our community outreach team found her in the grounds of a temple with a bulging eye which she’d lost all vision in.

With the eye only serving to cause her pain, it was removed without delay, and Pupeye gained a permanent wink.

At a year and eight months old, Pupeye is all grown up now. However, she still carries the hurt of those early experiences with her.
