You’ve seen black cats, white cats, tabby cats and calicos, but what about a golden cat 🐱? Meet the Asian Golden Cat 🐈, the final animal we will be introducing in our series!

Though they share similar characteristics, this rare animal is no ordinary house cat- it is a medium-sized wild cat that can grow up to three times the size of its domesticated relative and are able to hunt prey even larger than themselves 🙀!

Beautiful as they are, Asian Golden Cats are being hunted for their pelts, with many of them ending up in the illegal wildlife trade 🚫. Thankfully, they are a protected species in most countries, but effective implementation and enforcement must be adequate to keep these cats safe! 😼🚨
