Kongo arrived at our shelter in 2020. He’d been spotted wandering along a beach one day, unfamiliar to locals in the area. They suspected he’d been abandoned. A few days later, he was spotted again, this time with a severely injured paw that needed urgent treatment at our shelter. His pinky toe had to be amputated, but fortunately our vets were able to save his leg.

Kongo is a fun-loving five-year-old boy who bonds closely with people. Sadly, he’s seen many dogs leave the shelter to start their new lives while he’s been left behind.
