Hello, my name is Mattana. Can you believe that in just a few weeks’ time, I’ll be celebrating my five year anniversary at Soi Dog? I sure can’t.

So much has changed since that day when I was rescued. I did used to be an owned dog, but for reasons I still do not know – they decided they didn’t want me anymore. It broke my heart to be abandoned by the people who I believed were my family. 😔💔

It was very hard learning how to adjust to life on the streets, everything was so scary and overwhelming. It wasn’t long before I was hit by a car and badly injured. Thankfully, with the help of people like you I was rescued and given the help I needed.

After the rejection I experienced, I can find it hard to trust people. But over time, I have been learning how to love again. Maybe that’s something you can help me with?
