This week, our partner organisation, Animal Kingdom Foundation hosted an Animal Welfare Enforcement Officers’ seminar with the Bulacan PNP (Philippines National Police.)

In total, 51 police officers from various precincts of the PNP completed the seminar, which was incredible to see. Especially with Bulacan being one of the hot spots for the dog meat trade in the Philippines.

With many raids having already been conducted in the area, the goal of the seminars is to help the police officers understand the depths of the animal welfare law, and how to implement it.

These seminars wouldn’t be possible without your support. It really is inspiring to see change happening – change that you are a part of.

Over the next couple of months, AKF will be hosting more seminars throughout different regions whilst spreading the word about animal welfare. Again, something that is only made possible with your help.
