Pigoya came to us 18 months ago after being hit by a car. A passerby found her in the road, bleeding from her head and too dazed to move, and called Soi Dog for help. At the shelter, she was cleaned up and given the critical care she needed, and she’s been here ever since.

No dog belongs at a shelter, but Pigoya feels particularly strongly that this isn’t the place for her. How is she supposed to be the sassy star of the show with all these other dogs around? How can such beauty be hidden away behind locked gates? No no, a prim and proper girl like her surely belongs in a home of her own she says, and we’d have to agree!

As you can see here, Pigoya has a lively and lovable character. But she can also be independent and appreciative of her own space from time to time. With this in mind, she’s looking for a child-free family who can indulge her fun side but respect her boundaries too.
