Most Of The Time We Have Sleepless Nights Worrying..

Most of the time we have sleepless nights worrying about how long we can sustain MDDB. More so that we don’t not share pitiful stories about our dogs no ourselves which is the trend these days to rake in the funds. Remember the Pet Journal people? They even went as far as saying they did not have anything to eat and ended-up financing six pet shops as well as a thriving breeding business with the funds they derived through their lies. There also has been a case where another fraud projected herself as a hero and an angel and pulled off a major con job. Years down the road, she is still around. However, we at MDDB cannot resort to such things and as a matter of principle do not even show ourselves on our page because as far as we are concerned, MDDB is all about the dogs and not us at all. But we are beginning to wonder if the lack of dramatics is what that has kept us as one of the poorest animal rescue NGOs. It is a terrible struggle for us and we fear that we may not even be able to pay the allowances of the dozen people that work for us. For us in MDDB, it is important that our dogs are well taken care of and I am sure you can see that they receive the best of care from our videos and pics. In order to achieve this, we need these workers and to keep them working for us, we have to ensure that their rice bowl is also filled. Hence our humble request to you is to keep supporting MDDB so that we can help the voiceless as well as those who help them. Currently we are broke and have commitments that are sky high. Please help us if you are able to.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
