This is Pilar, Percy and Prince. A little over a month ago now, they were rescued from the dog meat trade in the Philippines.

Trapped inside of sacks, and barely able to breathe – the suffering they endured is truly horrific. Some of them even had their snouts tied shut with a piece of wire. Thankfully, they were rescued just in time by our partner organisation, Animal Kingdom Foundation.

Now in safe hands, the incredible team are working hard on their rehabilitation, which is essential to enable them to be able to recover from their painful and traumatic pasts.

It is hoped that with time, Pilar, Percy and Prince will be ready to find their forever homes.

It’s hard to imagine that these dogs were moments away from having their lives taken away from them far too soon.
