⚠️ Upsetting images ⚠️ Found by our mobile team in the south of Thailand, Brass was suffering from a badly infected wound on his leg. The wound was so extensive, the metacarpal bones were completely exposed. 😲

Upon examination, our veterinary team also found maggots in a second wound on his body. If that wasn’t already enough for this sweet boy to contend with, we also discovered that Brass is blind in his left eye. Life on the streets had clearly not been kind to him. 😟

Due to the extent of the injury on his leg, our veterinary team performed an urgent amputation to increase his chance of recovery.

Despite being found over three hours away from our hospital, Brass has been safely rescued and able to receive the lifesaving care he needs.
