Urgent!! 🆘

Pleading for help out there for a doggie blood donor within Kuala Lumpur & Petaling Jaya.

Location: Gasing Veterinary & Hospital, PJ

Our 9 year old Corgi, Rusty has chronic anaemia and it’s getting worst day by day as the doctor suspects an active bleeding caused by a tumour in his spleen. Doctor is requesting blood transfusion asap to stablized his blood count before we can proceed with surgery.

It’s a ticking time bomb and we are worried he would collapse anytime if his blood count continues to deplete.

The criteria for the dog donor would be as follows:

30kg and above

Between 1 year old – 8 years old

Fully vaccinated

No underlining illnesses

Non-aggressive

Please help! 🙏🏼 Any costs for the test and transportation will be bared by us.

If you have a dog that fits the criteria or know anyone who have a dog who are willing donors.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
