Happy International E-Waste Day! Our Freshwater conservation team in Setiu, Terengganu will be holding a community event dubbed ‘Setiu Cakna Alam Sekitar’ on 20 October 2022, in conjunction with three environmental days – World Rivers Day (25 September), International E-Waste Day (14 October) and National Recycling Day (5 November).

Supported by CIMB Islamic Bank, exciting activities have been lined up for the half-day event such as beach plogging, recycle-race, insightful sharing sessions and ‘trashion’ competition for kindergarten children. A concurrent ‘Jom Jana Duit Dari sisa’ programme will also be held throughout the event.

This event also ties in with the focus of this year’s International E-Waste Day, which is on small items of e-waste, under the slogan ‘Recycle it all, no matter how small!’. Take part and recycle your e-waste for a better future for humans and nature.
