因为这么多狗狗住在一起，

狗虱问题是最最最难预防和解决的！

真的让我们很头痛，

因为会造成后续很多问题如狗虱病、皮肤病等等

帮了浪浪们一个大忙

也让我们在经费上能暂时缓一缓…

团队结束探访后告诉我们，

A big thank you to the team of pharmaceutical company @Boehringer Ingelheim Malaysia for visiting our shelter and donating 950 boxes of the company’s FRONTLINE spot on!

(flea and tick preventative) a total of 2,850 tubes😍

The monthly expenses we spend on tick and flea medicine are enormous, because there are so many rescued dogs living together inside, tick and flea problem is always the most difficult to prevent and solve!

It really gives us a big headache, as it will cause many disease problems such as tick fever, skin diseases, etc.

We really appreciate Boehringer Ingelheim Malaysia’s help and kindness.

This will be going to help so many stray dogs and also to ease our financial burden.

The team told us after the visit, “We’re impressed! The dogs are all well taken care of, most of them have no skin disease and with nice fur.” 😊🙏🏻

Hope all furparents not to forget to do flea prevention for your furkids at home. The efficacy of one tube of spot-on can last for a month, just drop it on the necks of the furkids once a month to get rid of ticks & fleas and other nasty parasites ✌️

Hope more kind corporates can also join the ranks of helping the homeless animals 💪🏻

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
