Yesterday, our partner organisation, Animal Kingdom Foundation carried out another successful raid.

Upon arrival, the team were shocked to see sacks of dogs lying in the corner of an alley, apparently waiting to be collected for the slaughterhouse – like they were just discarded waste.

Sadly, out of eleven dogs – four were already dead. Likely having died of suffocation. It breaks our hearts to think of the pain and despair the dogs must have felt during their last moments of life.

The seven surviving dogs are now in the safe hands of AKF, and receiving the medical care they need.

The dog meat trader is currently in detainment and an inquest has been scheduled. It is believed that the suspect has been buying and selling dogs for years. We dread to think how many lives he has taken.
