We Were Informed By Our Volunteer May That A Resid..

We were informed by our volunteer May that a resident has made a complaint to DBKL to remove all the stray cats in the vicinity of the condominium she stays at Batu Caves area. Just last week we have neutered 4 cats from there and many more in the previous years. The complainant was told that after the cats are caught, they will be sent for neutering and their welfare will be taken care of for the rest of their life pending adoption. Well, we can ensure you that it’s simply not true. They will be discarded in a cruel way.

We met up with the chairman of the condo management, Mr Isaiah ( 1st pic, far right ) last Friday to discuss the matter. The meeting was a fruitful one. Now the management is looking into managing the stray cat population in that area by implementing TNR. We will work closely with them in this matter.

DBKL catchers were supposed to be there last Saturday but it was called off. We managed to catch another three cats for neutering, we are fostering 6 kittens and one kitten was adopted by a resident named Janet.

Previously, May sponsored all the neutering costs but she can’t possibly sponsors all, so please help to sponsor the neutering costs of these 3 cats ( 2 females and 1 male ).

1. Male Rm215.

2. Female Rm255.

3. Female Rm255.
