We’ll be releasing 150 head-started river terrapins into the Kemaman River this coming Saturday, and we’d like to invite you to join us!

Date: 8th Oct 2022 (Sat)

Time: Exhibition, games, workshops start at 8:00 am / Terrapin release ceremony starts at 3:00 pm

Venue: Kg. Pasir Gajah, Kemaman

Waze: TCS River Terrapin Conservation Centre

Activities include:

🐢 Exhibition by Lang Tengah Turtle Watch, Sea Turtle Research Unit – UMT and #TeamFungi #LAPDiM from UMT

🐢 Colouring activity for children under 12 years old

🐢 Gift arrangement workshop

🐢 Soap-making workshop

🐢 Sukaneka

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
