Cindys Selection, A Local Cat-Litter
Tweet |
My friend, Mr Teh, gave me a bag of his house-brand cat-litter to try. Yes, it’s a local product, and it’s called Cindy’s Selection.
Cindy is Mr Teh’s very own cat.
I guess this must be Cindy (picture on the bag)?
Me pretty, or Cindy pretty?
Tabs immediately jumped in to use it.
But she was particularly interested in the picture of the cat. Cindy?
See?
I let her be….for just a few minutes and the next thing I knew….
Oh gosh…she had bitten the plastic bag and…..
Tabs!!!!
Yes?
You called?
Well, yes…I did this.
Er..anything wrong?
This calls for a massive clean-up.
Our dear little one was nonchalant about it, as in, “Eh, what’s the big deal?”
So I played with some sand…I’m still a kid, you know.
While I was cleaning up, Cleo used the new litter.
Tabs enjoyed the massive clean-up and all the cats came to “help”.
Me prettier, right?
Right??
If you’d like to support a local brand, try Cindy’s Selection. It has carbon and bentonite (the clumping clay from China). Odour control is good. It does have a bit of dust, though, as with most cat litter that uses clay as the clumping agent. The clumping is not as hard as EverClean, which makes cleaning the scoop easier (no need to scrub so hard!).
With seven cats using the four toilets, EverClean is a bit too pricey, so I’m sourcing an alternative.
My cats didn’t seem to mind the sudden change at all. They went in to use the new litter.
For me, one of my most important criteria would be easy to clean when it spills out and gets wet. Let me try that out.
