Can You Believe That Someone Would Shoot Mornis? I..

Can you believe that someone would shoot Mornis? 😧 It was not his choice to be born onto the streets as a stray, but someone still attempted to kill him for no other reason than him merely existing. 💔

And yet that wasn’t even the reason why he was initially admitted to the hospital for treatment. A kind local in the area noticed that Mornis had been limping for a few weeks. She was unable to catch him, so called Soi Dog for help. She didn’t know what had caused the injury, but suspected that it was likely from a dog bite.

When performing an X-ray in the hospital, our veterinary team discovered that Mornis had multiple bullets in his body. One of the bullets had likely caused a fracture to his femur bone, which meant he needed an amputation. Not only that, but our veterinary team also had great concern that he was suffering from lead poisoning. 😔

It’s hard to believe that someone intentionally did this to Mornis. We can only begin to imagine what he has been through.

With the help of people like you, the recovery journey for Mornis can start now. It won’t be an easy journey for him physically or emotionally, but he is at least in safe hands receiving the treatment and care he needs, and no longer in any danger.

After all he has been through, Mornis deserves the chance of a brighter future. Will you help to give him that? And others just like him? A gift can help to ensure they receive the very best care and support they need. Click here to help: https://links.soidog.org/dogs-like-mornis-deserve-so-much-better.
