Dear all,

We have about 12 opposing a grand send off for Happy and an overwhelming number of people supporting the move. So we will go with the majority. Happy was rescued as a puppy from Johor after a 15 year old boy called and pleaded with us to rescue her in 2013. She was admitted at Gasing Hospital for 9 months undergoing treatment and surgeries. She fought many other issues like a hero and was one of our friendliest dogs. She has now gone to paradise to join her close friend the late Peter Tan. We are still raising funds to meet the cost. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
