⚠️ Upsetting images ⚠️ A few months ago, Hanso was hit by a car and found in a very distressing way. 😔 Bleeding heavily from her wounded body she was in desperate need of help.

With your support, she was able to be rescued by our Emergency Response Team and brought to the safety of our hospital where she could receive the lifesaving help she needed.

The trauma of the accident had caused an abdominal wall rupture, and an open femur fracture on her right leg, which both needed surgery.

We are so pleased to see that following her procedures, Hanso is making great progress and now able to bear her weight and walk on all four legs. She still has a little while to go on her recovery journey, but is doing so well. 🥰

It is only with your help that dogs like Hanso are able to receive the treatment they need. Seeing that bright face of hers, it’s hard to imagine what would have happened if she had of been left there to suffer in excruciating pain.
