Date: 30th September – 2nd October 2022 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Venue: MATRADE Exhibition & Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur

Event details: Cat Adoption, Sale of Merchandise, Collection of Donation and Raising Awareness

Available time slots (up to 5 volunteers per slot):-

Friday 30/9/22 Slot A 9.30am-3.00pm / Slot B 3.00pm-8.30pm

Saturday 1/10/22 Slot A 9.30am-3.00pm / Slot B 3.00pm-8.30pm

Sunday 2/10/22 Slot A 9.30am-3.00pm / Slot B 3.00pm-8.30pm

Your role as a volunteer will be to assist us with the cat adoptions, sale of merchandise and collection of donations throughout the event. You will be briefed on the day itself. Please take note that you will have to arrange for your own transportation.

If you are interested in volunteering for any of the above, please provide your full name(s), contact number, number of people volunteering and the desired date/time slot(s). Please do take note that we only need up to 5 volunteers for each slot and slots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

PAWS

PAWS was founded in 1987 by a small group of local and expatriate volunteers. Through their generosity and imagination, PAWS was constructed on a patch of land owned by Sime Plantations on the Subang Airport Road. This distinct group of sheds and a courtyard still stands today and currently homes around 400 cats and dogs.

The staff that work at PAWS include one veterinary surgeon and a number of full-time personnel. The organisation depends entirely on the generosity of the public through donations or proceeds from charitable events organized and run by volunteers.
