So, We Called One Of The Residents In The Area And..

So, we called one of the residents in the area and told him we will take the two mother dogs there and their puppies today. We was okay with it but called yesterday claiming the doggos were no longer there. His tone was also initially strange. But we still asked Shan to go over this morning. The mother in the pix was there but elusive and so Shan had to dart her. Apparently MPK came and caught all her puppies and now we understand the change in the resident’s tone yesterday. This poor mother’s teats are so engorged. The other mother was nowhere to be seen but her puppies were around. We will be going back for her. Hopefully this mother will care for them temporarily. Luckily, FKSH has given us space for this family in their shelter in Seremban. Thank you very very much. But MDDB will be responsible for her veterinary expenses. There were some residents feeding these dogs but there were others who wanted to get rid of them. These evil people have no compassion in their hearts and while they are snug at home – they had sent their poor puppies to their untimely deaths. Shan and FKSH have given us their costing and we hope you will generously contribute to cover this. Thanking you in anticipation.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
