If You Ever See A Big, Bright Pair Of Eyes Staring..

If you ever see a big, bright pair of eyes staring back at you in the rainforests of Peninsular Malaysia, it might just be a Sunda slow loris! π³π
Although they are often confused with sloths, they are actually a distinct species of primate π.
The Sunda slow lorisβ most recognisable feature is its big, round eyes π. Although giving them a cute appearance, this feature helps them see at night, when they are the most active ππ.
Like previous species weβve covered, they also face threats like habitat destruction and wildlife trafficking. Without proper education and enforcement, demand for slow lorises as pets will only continue to threaten its survival.
Swipe to learn some fun facts about the Sunda slow loris and follow us for more wildlife content! ππ±
