If You Ever See A Big, Bright Pair Of Eyes Staring..

If you ever see a big, bright pair of eyes staring back at you in the rainforests of Peninsular Malaysia, it might just be a Sunda slow loris! πŸŒ³πŸ™‰

Although they are often confused with sloths, they are actually a distinct species of primate πŸ’.

The Sunda slow loris’ most recognisable feature is its big, round eyes πŸ‘€. Although giving them a cute appearance, this feature helps them see at night, when they are the most active πŸ™ˆπŸŒ™.

Like previous species we’ve covered, they also face threats like habitat destruction and wildlife trafficking. Without proper education and enforcement, demand for slow lorises as pets will only continue to threaten its survival.
