Food Talk, Mr G And Crushed Eggshells

My “re-conversion project” was finally successful today!

“Successful” in that I got all of them to eat homecooked without having to bribe them with a bit Natural Balance or even mix it with canned food.

This evening, for dinner, everybody willingly and quite happily ate homecooked. No resistance, no hesitation, no looking at me with those “you expect me to eat this muck?” face.

Look…Pole heard a noise…guess who came?

�Here’s Indy. He is eating from Bobby’s big bowl.

Everyone had 2-3 helpings. There must be something very right about this batch of food. Hmm…what did I put inside? Just the usual. But they just loved it today. �I think it’s because I thawed it to room temperature and it’s not cold.

�Bobby’s is mixed with his Canine Caviar kibble.

You see the discharge from his eye? It’s MUCH better now, after using “Can See”. It used to be very bad previously.

�Yes, we guessed right…Mr G was watching from the ledge above. He was meowing all night, and I don’t know why he doesn’t want to come to the Stargate anymore. Could it be because the last time he came, Bunny was on a rampage (was it full moon?) and Bunny let out a most terrible-sounding war cry at the poor old chap? Since the, he’d only walk on the ledge and meow. He hasn’t come to eat at the Stargate anymore.

�Yes, this mild-mannered guy can let out the most terrifying feline war cry.

�Everyone waited for Mr G after dinner, but he remained on the ledge, meowing.

�He was there for 5 hours tonight.

�The gang kept him company from below.

Just a few days ago…

�I could even pat him already when he came to ate at the Stargate.

�Everyone was okay except for Bunny who behaved like a mild lunatic that night.

Oh well…I had to go prepare a new batch of food.

Some of you have written to ask how to make crushed eggshells…

Here’s how…

�Put in a dry blender/grinder.

�Blend.

�There you go.

There may be some bigger pieces. Just blend it until it is really fine.
