When Favorite first arrived, she was struggling to cope from the excruciating pain she was in. The maggot infested wound on her head was causing her great suffering. 😔

We’re not sure when it happened, or even how it happened. But it seemed by the extent of the wound that she had been in discomfort for a few days at least.

With the support of animal lovers like you, Favorite has been receiving the lifesaving treatment she needs. After many weeks in our hospital, she has made an incredible recovery so far, and the wound on her head has healed.

Upon arrival, our veterinary team also found that Favorite had a mass on her spleen and in her stomach. She recently had a splenectomy and mastecomy to remove the masses and is still recovering from the surgery. But we hope she will be able to join one of the runs soon.
