Lullaboy found his forever home here in Phuket! 🏝

Most of our dogs are rescued from the streets, but Lullaboy came to us for a different, heartbreaking reason. His owner sadly passed away, and he was left alone.

At first, Lullaboy was confused and grieving but after some medical care, as well as lots of love and reassurance, he was ready to find a new home and settle down once and for all.

Ten months later, Lullaboy was chosen by a local expat who visited our shelter in search of a dog to adopt. She shared this lovely update about Lullaboy (now Mr. Shelby) with us⁠:

“I’m very lucky. Mr. Shelby and I have clicked from the minute he arrived at my home. He’s doing so well, really loving and very well behaved. He loves his food and walks. We’re going out to the nearby beach in the morning for a walk and around the lake in the evening. I also attached a video of him digging a hole in the sand. He does this every day, and always makes sure he doesn’t bury his ball!

I’ve let his hair grow a little as some days it’s a bit cold, and he loves a daily brush. We celebrated his birthday together, and he had a bit of lamb steak Mr. Shelby is an amazing little boy and I’m so grateful to have him ❤”
