“CHOPING” OUR FUTURE GENERATION
SPCA bring your kids to work day!
The #SPCASingapore family had a blast! As part of our staff welfare programme, we had a ‘bring-your-kids-to-work’ day, and all our little ones had the opportunity to learn more about what their parents/grandparents were doing for the animals of Singapore.
Other than a day of fun, games, and cat-toy-making, our special guests spent their day understanding the importance of animal welfare with our Animal Care officers by learning how to handle an animal! After some scoping, we also heard that the clinic tour was a hit with the kids (potential veterinarians?).
We’re proud to share that at the end of the day, more than 70% of them exclaimed loudly “WORKING AT SPCA!” when asked about their dream job!
Harrish, the smartest 6-year-old boy, even told our Executive Director, Aarthi, that he wants to be the future ED of SPCA & that he’d be doing his work in her office from now on. 👀 [Insider info from his mum: Harrish has been asking to accompany me to work everyday, saying that he’s going to be part of the animal rescue operation.] Harrish, we hear you, and we welcome you and your dedication with both arms in the future!
