Updates On 16th Mar 2012

In conjunction with Earth Day 2012 (22 April), the SPCA will switch off all lights and air-conditioners on Friday, 23 March 2012. We’ll be using natural light as much as possible. The air-conditioner will be switched on only when there is a surgery or consultation. The SPCA assures everyone that we will not compromise quality of work or the welfare of the animals.

The SPCA is abuzz with excitement when this idea was proposed with many staff members giving suggestions that could be implemented in the long run!

Energy conservation is a stepping stone towards saving our Earth and the SPCA would like to do its part.
