Orpao was a stray dog struggling on the streets. She’d likely never had a close human companion before, and yet she still somehow knew how to ask for help. 😮

One day, Orpao approached a restaurant owner in the local area. Seeing that Orpao was injured and bleeding from her left hind leg, he immediately reached out for help.

If it wasn’t for Orpao having the courage to ask for a hand, she likely wouldn’t have survived for long with the wounds on her body surely only worsening.

With the help of the kind restaurant owner, and you, Orpao was able to be brought to the safety of our sanctuary and given the veterinary care she needed. At first, there was concern that Orpao had been shot, but following further assessment we believe that she was bitten by another dog.

We might never know exactly what happened, but it was clear that Orpao was shaken up from what she had been through and in need of loving care. With your help, Orpao was able to receive just that, and has made a wonderful recovery.

She’s no longer a stray dog struggling on the streets, but a happy and friendly dog receiving all of the special care she deserves with a safe place to sleep every night. Something that every dog deserves. 🥰
