SOS SOS SOS We are in so much of need but when an emergency arises – we feel that the onus is on us to help. Someone reached out to us for help. He is an independant rescuer and feeder who has been maintaining 28 dogs at a temple near Batu Caves. Some of the dogs came down with parvo and six of them died. Out of the remaining 22 dogs – 10 are puppies between two to three months old, and 11 adults of which one is a pregnant female. They have taken the sick puppies to KM Vets which is asking for a deposit. They have four slots for parvo cases and hence 4 puppies can be admitted. The clinic has estimated treatment cost at RM800 per puppy and that will come up to RM3200. They are asking for a deposit of at least RM1500 for the puppies to be admitted. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
