We First Introduced You To Churos A Few Weeks Ago ..

We first introduced you to Churos a few weeks ago now, and his rescue story still completely breaks our hearts. 💔

Abandonment has to be one of the cruelest things you can do to your companion. To give them a taste of what a home can feel like, and then to discard them like they are worthless. We can’t even begin to imagine how it must have felt for Churos to watch his previous owner drive away without him – leaving him with nothing but the chain around his neck.

You might not think that this story can get any worse, but it does. Not only was Churos abandoned, but in harm of being callously and purposely hurt. At the time of his rescue, we were told that local villagers were planning on poisoning him. 😥

Thankfully for Churos, and other dogs like him, there are kind and compassionate people in the world who care, and we know that you are one of them. We just hope that someday, Churos will understand that too.

Until then, we will continue to provide Churos with all of the care he needs. He is recovering well physically, but will need more time for his emotional scars to heal.
